Most Expensive Hotels in Italy

According to the recent survey from Luxury-Hotels.com, the most expensive hotels in the world come from the Mediterranean Island of Sardinia, Italy. The survey compared luxury hotels around the world and then ranked them based on their average rates for standard double room this June-August 2012 summer season. The dollar figures behind the rankings reflects the minimum amount a visitor had to spent to stay in a particular hotel a night.

The result of the survey comes up with Le Dune, Forte Village Resort in Sardinia, Italy as the most expensive hotel in an average rate a night of $2539. Among the top twenty hotels included in the list are Hotel Pitrizza (3), Villa del Parco (4), Hotel Cala di Volpe (6) and Hotel Romazzino (7) in Sardinia and Grand Hotel a Villa Feltrinelli (18) in Lombardy, Italy.
